Rotenolone
Antiproliferative Agent
Rotenolone is an antiproliferative agent that targets a variety of cancer cell lines. It exhibits cytotoxic effects on ovarian cancer (A2780), breast cancer (BT-549), prostate cancer (DU 145), non-small cell lung cancer (NCI-H460), and colon cancer (HCC-2998) cell lines, with reported IC50 values of 0.95, 1.6, 2.7, 2.0, and 2.9 μM, respectively. This compound is valuable for cancer research, particularly in the study of therapeutic strategies against aggressive malignancies.
