RTx-152
Polθ-pol Inhibitor
RTx-152 is an allosteric inhibitor of DNA polymerase theta (Polθ) with a reported IC50 of 6.2 nM. This compound effectively traps Polθ on DNA, leading to selective cytotoxicity in homologous recombination (HR)-deficient cancer cells, including those lacking BRCA2. Additionally, RTx-152 has been shown to suppress resistance to PARP inhibitors across various genetic contexts, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and therapeutic development.
