RUNX1/ETO Inhibitor
RUNX1/ETO-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of the RUNX1-ETO oncogenic fusion protein, targeting the NHR2 oligomerization domain. It directly interacts with the NHR2 domain, exhibiting an apparent dissociation constant of 39 μM. This compound demonstrates significant anti-leukemic activity by inducing apoptosis and promoting differentiation in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells harboring the RUNX1-ETO translocation. Its structural properties allow it to remain largely uncharged at physiological pH, which enhances its membrane permeability and facilitates cellular uptake.
