Rupintrivir
HRV 3C Protease Inhibitor
Rupintrivir is a selective and irreversible inhibitor of human rhinovirus (HRV) 3C protease. It demonstrates potent antiviral activity, effectively inhibiting the replication of multiple HRV serotypes, with a mean EC50 of 0.023 μM in H1-HeLa and MRC-5 cell protection assays. Additionally, Rupintrivir exhibits immune-modulatory effects, making it a valuable compound for research into antiviral therapies and mechanisms of HRV-related infections.
