RWJ-56110
PAR-1 Inhibitor
RWJ-56110 is a selective peptide-mimetic inhibitor of PAR-1, effectively blocking its activation and internalization with an IC50 of 0.44 µM. This compound demonstrates significant inhibition of human platelet aggregation induced by SFLLRN-NH2 and thrombin, with IC50 values of 0.16 µM and 0.34 µM, respectively, while showing no impact on other PAR receptors. Additionally, RWJ-56110 has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis and prevent new vessel formation in vivo, as well as inducing apoptosis in various cell types.
