(S)-HexylHIBO
S-enantiomer of HexylHIBO
(S)-HexylHIBO is the S-enantiomer of HexylHIBO and functions as a group I metabotropic glutamate receptor (mGluR) antagonist. This compound is shown to enhance the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis response to restraint in rat models. (S)-HexylHIBO is a valuable tool for investigating central nervous system-related disorders and may aid in elucidating mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric conditions.
