METTL1 Inhibitor
SA91-0178 is a specific inhibitor of METTL1, a key enzyme involved in m7G methylation of RNA. By inhibiting METTL1, SA91-0178 reduces SARM1 stability and alleviates NAD+ depletion and metabolic reprogramming in macrophages. This compound exhibits significant protective effects against multiple organ injury in models of cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) and ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) in mice. SA91-0178 serves as a valuable reagent for investigating systemic inflammatory diseases.
