Sanazole

Radiosensitizer

Sanazole, a hypoxic cell radiosensitizer, primarily enhances radiation-induced DNA strand breaks. In preclinical studies using mouse fibroblast tumors, Sanazole has been shown to increase nuclear condensation and fragmentation, as well as elevate caspase-3 activity. These effects contribute to a significant enhancement of radiation-induced apoptosis, making Sanazole a valuable tool for research in cancer radiotherapy.
