SARM1 Inhibitor
SARM1-IN-4 is an orally active inhibitor of SARM1, targeting its NAD+ hydrolase activity. This compound significantly reduces plasma neurofilament light chain (NfL) levels in mouse models at a dose of 50 mg/kg, highlighting its potential in preventing programmed axonal degeneration. SARM1-IN-4 is applicable in research focused on neurodegenerative diseases and neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and peripheral neuropathies.
