Anti-cancer Agent

Sartorypyrone B is a 2β-acetoxyl analogue of chevalone C, exhibiting potent anti-cancer activity. It demonstrates strong growth inhibitory effects with GI50 values of 17.8 μM, 20.5 μM, and 25.0 μM against MCF-7, NCI-H460, and A375-C5 cancer cell lines, respectively. This compound holds promise for research applications in breast adenocarcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and melanoma.
