Satavaptan

Vasopressin Receptor Antagonist

Satavaptan is a selective antagonist of the vasopressin V2 receptor. By inhibiting this receptor, Satavaptan modulates vasopressin-regulated phosphopeptides and disrupts vasopressin-mediated signaling pathways. This compound shows promise in the treatment of hyponatremia, making it a valuable tool for research in fluid balance and electrolyte homeostasis.
