SB 203580 Analog
SB 203580 sulfone is a specific analog of the p38 MAP kinase inhibitor SB 203580, primarily targeting stress response signaling pathways. It effectively inhibits interleukin-1 (IL-1) production in monocytes with an IC50 of 0.2 μM and competitively binds to CSAID binding proteins (CSBP), demonstrating an IC50 of 0.03 μM. Additionally, SB 203580 sulfone exhibits inhibition of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) with an IC50 of 24 µM. This compound is valuable for investigating mechanisms of inflammatory diseases.
