UII Receptor Antagonist
SB-657510 is a selective antagonist of the urotensin II (UII) receptor, demonstrating Ki values of 61, 17, 30, 65, and 56 nM across human, monkey, cat, rat, and mouse receptors, respectively. This compound exhibits significant anti-inflammatory properties, effectively inhibiting UII-induced upregulation of inflammatory mediators, including adhesion molecules, cytokines, and tissue factor in human vascular endothelial cells. SB-657510 is useful in research focused on inflammatory responses and vascular biology.
