SEN205A

S100B Binder

SEN205A is a fragment compound that selectively binds to the hydrophobic pocket of human S100B, with a dissociation constant (Kd) ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 mM. This binding site is crucial for the interaction between S100B and both TRTK-12 and p53, with TRTK-12 capable of displacing SEN205A. Demonstrating favorable in vitro ADME properties, SEN205A displays high metabolic stability, chemical stability, and good solubility at physiological pH. It serves as a valuable starting fragment for structure-based optimization in the development of inhibitors targeting the S100B-p53 protein-protein interaction, contributing to research on the pathogenesis of malignant melanoma.
