Separase Inhibitor
SIC5-6 is a potent inhibitor of Separase, a large cysteine protease that plays a critical role in chromosome segregation during both mitosis and meiosis. In addition to its involvement in DNA damage repair and centrosome disengagement and duplication, Separase is vital for spindle stabilization and elongation.
