SL-176
PPM1D Inhibitor
SL-176 is a potent inhibitor of PPM1D (Wip1), targeting its role in lipid metabolism and cell cycle regulation. This compound effectively inhibits lipid droplet formation and downregulates the expression of PPARγ and C/EBPα, thereby blocking adipocyte differentiation. Additionally, SL-176 induces G2/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in breast cancer cells with elevated PPM1D levels, while activating p53 pathway components. Its ability to suppress tumor growth in a zebrafish model of neuroblastoma highlights its potential applications in obesity, breast cancer, and neuroblastoma research.
