SLC7A11/xCT Inhibitor
SLC7A11-IN-2 is a selective inhibitor of the SLC7A11/xCT transporter. It induces cell death in HeLa cells by depleting intracellular glutathione and enhancing oxidative stress, leading to a disruption of cellular redox balance, with an IC50 of 10.23 μM. Molecular dynamics simulations suggest that SLC7A11-IN-2 exhibits a higher binding affinity to SLC7A11 compared to alternative inhibitors. This compound is valuable for research in cervical cancer and the study of oxidative stress-related mechanisms.
