Split Esterase

SN-38-CM2 is a split esterase that demonstrates greater than 95% conversion to the active metabolite SN-38 within five minutes in vitro. This compound induces protein-protein interactions (PPI)-dependent esterase activity, leading to cell death in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. SN-38-CM2 is valuable for research applications focused on enzyme-mediated cytotoxicity and the study of mechanisms underlying cancer treatment resistance.
