SN40 hydrochloride
Amino Acid Transport Inhibitor
SN40 hydrochloride is a potent inhibitor of amino acid transport with inhibition constants (Kis) of 7.29 μM for rat ASCT2, 2.42 μM for human ASCT2, and varying Kis of 2.94 μM, 5.55 μM, 24.43 μM, and 5.55 μM for EAAT1, EAAT2, EAAC1, and EAAT5, respectively. This compound is valuable for cancer research and can enhance the understanding of amino acid transport's role in tumor biology. Its inhibition of specific transporters may provide insights into potential therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.
