Sonepiprazole
D4 Receptor Antagonist
Sonepiprazole is a selective D4 dopamine receptor antagonist, exhibiting Ki values of 3.6 nM for the rat D4 receptor and 10.1 nM for the human D4.2 receptor, while showing weaker affinities of 5147 nM and 7430 nM for the rat D2 dopamine and histamine H1 receptors, respectively. This compound demonstrates potential for modulating dopaminergic signaling and is useful in investigating the role of D4 receptors in neurological and psychiatric conditions.
