SP11
Fis1 Inhibitor
SP11 is a selective inhibitor of mitochondrial fission protein 1 (Fis1) with an IC50 of 9.4 μM. By specifically binding to activated Fis1 at Cys41, SP11 helps maintain mitochondrial integrity and function under oxidative stress conditions. This compound is effective in inhibiting hydrogen peroxide-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, mitochondrial fragmentation, and Drp1 translocation to mitochondria. SP11 has significant potential for research applications related to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson's disease.
