Spermidine

Polyamine Compound

Spermidine is a polyamine compound that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by maintaining cell membrane stability and enhancing antioxidant enzyme activities. It has been shown to improve the efficiency of photosystem II (PSII) and regulate relevant gene expression. Additionally, spermidine effectively reduces intracellular levels of reactive oxygen species, specifically hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and superoxide (O2.-), making it a valuable reagent for studies in oxidative stress and cellular signaling pathways.
