SR-THAP

hGAT3 Inhibitor

SR-THAP is a selective inhibitor of the human γ-aminobutyric acid transporter 3 (hGAT3), demonstrating an IC50 of 4.9 μM and exhibiting 42-fold and 23-fold selectivity over GAT1 and GlyT1, respectively. This compound effectively inhibits GABA uptake in mammalian cells, making it a valuable tool in the study of neurological disorders. SR-THAP is particularly relevant for research into epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, and ischemic stroke.
