ST6GAL1 Inhibitor
ST6GAL1-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of ST6GAL1, exhibiting an IC50 of 20 μM. This compound demonstrates significant antimetastatic activity by effectively inhibiting the migration of MDA-MB-231 cells at noncytotoxic concentrations. ST6GAL1-IN-1 disrupts integrin sialylation and inhibits tumor angiogenesis and cancer metastasis through the Integrin/VEGFR2-mediated signaling pathway. It is a valuable tool for investigating mechanisms in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and evaluating therapeutic strategies against tumor growth and metastasis in relevant cellular and xenograft models.
