Stampidine
NRTI
Stampidine is a potent nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) with broad-spectrum anti-HIV activity. It effectively inhibits both laboratory-derived HIV-1 strain HTLVIIIB and primary clinical isolates, demonstrating IC50 values of 1 nM and 2 nM, respectively. Furthermore, Stampidine retains efficacy against NRTI- and NNRTI-resistant primary clinical isolates, with IC50 values of 8.7 nM and 11.2 nM, respectively, making it a valuable tool for HIV research and therapeutic development.
