Sternbin
Flavanone
Sternbin, also known as Eriodictyol 7-methyl ether, is a flavanone recognized for its antibacterial properties. It exhibits inhibitory activity against a broad spectrum of bacteria and demonstrates antiviral effects against infectious salmon anemia virus (ISAV). Additionally, Sternbin has been shown to inhibit the contraction of isolated rat smooth muscle, making it a valuable reagent for research in microbiology and pharmacology.
