Sudemycin D6

Pre-mRNA Splicing Modulator

Sudemycin D6 is a selective pre-mRNA splicing modulator that exhibits significant antitumor properties. It alters splice site usage specifically in DUSP11 and SRRM1 pre-mRNA, leading to reduced survival and altered cell cycle dynamics in hematopoietic cells with mutant U2AF1. Additionally, Sudemycin D6 effectively mitigates the hematopoietic progenitor cell expansion associated with U2AF1(S34F) transgenic mice. This compound is valuable for cancer research focused on splicing mechanisms and hematologic malignancies.
