Sulfo-Cy5.5 Azide

Sulfo-Cy5.5 Azide is a click chemistry reagent featuring an azide moiety that facilitates labeling applications. This water-soluble dye exhibits excitation and emission maxima at 673 nm and 707 nm, respectively, making it suitable for visualizing sensitive biomolecules such as peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides. Sulfo-Cy5.5 Azide can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing substrates, as well as ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with DBCO or BCN functionalized compounds. These attributes make it an invaluable tool for bio-conjugation and fluorescence imaging in chemical biology research.
