Supinoxin

Anti-Cancer Agent

Supinoxin is an orally active inhibitor of phosphorylated-p68 RNA helicase (P-p68) and serves as a first-in-class anti-cancer agent. By targeting Y593 phosphorylated-p68, Supinoxin disrupts the nuclear translocation of β-catenin, leading to induction of apoptosis in cancer cells. This compound has demonstrated significant growth inhibition in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines, with IC50 values between 10 nM and 20 nM, making it a valuable tool for cancer research applications.
