Synthalin hydrochloride

iGluR

Synthalin hydrochloride is a selective inhibitor of ionotropic glutamate receptors (iGluR) with a primary mechanism targeting K+ channels to modulate neuronal excitability. It influences NMDA receptor-mediated depolarization, likely via receptor-associated modulation of L-glutamate and serotonin (5-HT) signaling pathways. This reagent is valuable in research applications focused on elucidating the dynamics of membrane potential changes in various neurons and investigating the involvement of polyamines in modulating neuronal excitability.
