Synucleozid hydrochloride

SNCA Translation Blocker

Synucleozid hydrochloride is a specific inhibitor of SNCA mRNA translation, targeting the 5′ UTR at the iron response element (IRE) site. This compound effectively reduces the levels of SNCA mRNA associated with polysomes, thereby inhibiting the production of α-synuclein protein. Synucleozid hydrochloride is a valuable tool for studying the molecular mechanisms underlying Parkinson’s disease.
