T3Inh-1
ppGalNAc-T3 Inhibitor
T3Inh-1 is a selective inhibitor of the enzyme ppGalNAc-T3, exhibiting an IC50 value of 7 μM. This compound effectively reduces FGF23 hormone levels in tissue cells and murine models, without inducing toxic side effects. Additionally, T3Inh-1 demonstrates potential in preventing the proliferation of breast cancer cells. The ppGalNAc-T3 enzyme plays a critical role in both cancer metastasis and the regulation of serum phosphate levels through FGF23 stabilization, making T3Inh-1 relevant for research in cancer biology and metabolic disorders.
