T4 Endonuclease V

DNA Glycosylase

T4 Endonuclease V is a dual-activity DNA glycosylase that functions as both a DNA N-glycosylase and apurinic/apyrimidinic (AP) lyase. This enzyme is capable of repairing ultraviolet (UV)-induced cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers in DNA, thereby facilitating the restoration of genetic integrity. T4 Endonuclease V is valuable for studies involving DNA damage repair mechanisms and is applicable in various molecular biology research applications.
