MicroRNA-96 Processing Inhibitor
Targaprimir-96 is a selective inhibitor of microRNA-96 (miR-96) processing, designed for applications in cancer research. This compound exhibits high binding affinity for primary miR-96 (pri-miR-96) and effectively modulates miR-96 levels in cancer cells, resulting in the induction of apoptosis. Targaprimir-96 specifically targets pri-miR-96 in breast cancer cells, demonstrating significant efficacy while sparing healthy breast tissue.
