TAT-Gap19
Cx43 HC Inhibitor
TAT-Gap19 is a specific inhibitor of connexin43 hemichannels (Cx43 HCs). Utilizing its connexin-mimetic properties, TAT-Gap19 selectively targets Cx43 HCs while sparing connexin43 gap junction channels (GJCs). This peptide is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier and has been shown to alleviate liver fibrosis in murine models, making it valuable for research in cell communication and fibrotic diseases.
