PSD95 Inhibitor
Tat-NR2B9c is a postsynaptic density-95 (PSD-95) inhibitor that disrupts the interaction between PSD-95 and N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors (NMDARs). It exhibits an EC50 of 6.7 nM for PSD-95 PDZ domain 2 and inhibits NR2A and NR2B binding to PSD-95 with IC50 values of 0.5 μM and 8 μM, respectively. Additionally, Tat-NR2B9c interferes with the neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS)/PSD-95 interaction, demonstrating neuroprotective properties, making it a valuable tool for research into synaptic regulation and neuroprotection.
