TCA1

Anti-TB Agent

TCA1 is a small molecule that functions as an anti-tuberculosis agent, exhibiting activity against both drug-susceptible and drug-resistant strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). It primarily inhibits key enzymes involved in cell wall and molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis, specifically DprE1 and MoeW. TCA1 serves as a valuable tool for research exploring novel therapeutic strategies against tuberculosis and for studying the underlying mechanisms of Mtb resistance.
