TCRS-417
PBX1 Inhibitor
TCRS-417 is a selective PBX1 inhibitor that effectively disrupts the binding of PBX1 to DNA, exhibiting an IC50 value of 6.58 μM. This compound attenuates PBX1-mediated transcriptional activity and diminishes stemness traits in Carboplatin-resistant cancer cells, promoting differentiation through modulation of the PBX1 signaling cascade. TCRS-417 has been shown to significantly reduce the self-renewal and proliferation of cancer cells with elevated PBX1 expression and decrease mRNA levels of oncogenes such as FOXM1, NEK2, and E2F2. Moreover, TCRS-417 demonstrates selective cytotoxicity towards chr1q-amp myeloma and solid tumor cells, highlighting its potential for therapeutic use in oncology.
