TDG-IN-1

TDG Inhibitor

TDG-IN-1 is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of thymine DNA glycosylase (TDG) that demonstrates strong inhibitory activity with a Ka of 1.46 nM. This compound disrupts TDG's DNA-binding capabilities, leading to reduced expression of DHX9, increased accumulation of double-stranded RNA, and subsequent activation of the RIG-I/MDA5-MAVS pathway. As an innate immune activator and tumor suppressor, TDG-IN-1 is effective in inhibiting the growth of p53-deficient tumor cells and xenograft tumors, providing a synthetic lethal effect in conjunction with p53 deficiency. This reagent is valuable for research focused on p53-deficient cancers.
