Tecalcet

CaSR Modulator

Tecalcet is an orally active calcimimetic compound that allosterically modulates the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR), enhancing its sensitivity to extracellular calcium ions (Ca2+). This modulation leads to increased intracellular signaling pathways relevant to calcium homeostasis. Tecalcet is primarily used in research focusing on calcium metabolism, parathyroid hormone regulation, and related conditions.
