Tegaserod
Serotonin Receptor 4 Agonist
Tegaserod is an orally active agonist of the serotonin receptor 4 (5-HT4R) and an antagonist of the 5-HT2B receptor. It exhibits anti-tumor activity by inducing apoptosis in tumor cells, inhibiting PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling, and reducing S6 phosphorylation.
