Teglicar chloride

L-CPT I Inhibitor

Teglicar chloride is a reversible, mixed-type inhibitor targeting hepatic carnitine palmitoyltransferase I (L-CPT I), with an IC50 of 1.1 μM against rat L-CPT I. It effectively lowers serum glucose levels and demonstrates antiketotic properties in normal fasted rats. This compound is valuable for research applications related to type 2 diabetes and ketoacidosis.
