TFAM activator 1

TFAM Activator

TFAM Activator 1 is a potent activator of Transcription Factor A, Mitochondrial (TFAM), which plays a critical role in mitochondrial biogenesis. This compound exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and promotes the restoration of mitochondrial function by increasing TFAM protein levels and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) copy number. Additionally, TFAM Activator 1 mitigates mtDNA stress-induced inflammatory responses, reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, CXCL-10, and IFN. It is a valuable reagent for research into mitochondrial dysfunction associated with neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
