TbFolD Inhibitor

TH7299 is a targeted inhibitor of the TbFolD pathway, exhibiting potent antiparasitic effects. By specifically binding to the tetrahydrofolate-binding pocket of MTHFD2, TH7299 effectively inhibits MTHFD2L and the dehydrogenase/cyclohydrolase domain of MTHFD1, leading to decreased viability of cancer cells, induction of apoptosis, and DNA damage. This compound is valuable for research in African trypanosomiasis and acute myeloid leukemia.
