Thienopyridone
PRL Phosphatase Inhibitor
Thienopyridone is a selective inhibitor of PRL phosphatases, with IC50 values of 173 nM, 277 nM, and 128 nM for PRL-1, PRL-2, and PRL-3, respectively. This compound exhibits minimal activity against other phosphatases, enhancing its specificity for target modulation. Thienopyridone has been shown to induce p130Cas cleavage and initiate apoptosis, demonstrating potential anticancer effects and utility in cancer research applications.
