PI5P4K Inhibitor
THZ-P1-2 is a selective inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate 4-kinase (PI5P4K) with an IC50 of 190 nM for the PI5P4Kα isoform. This compound covalently targets cysteine residues within a disordered loop in PI5P4Kα/β/γ, leading to disruption of autophagy processes and upregulation of TFEB signaling. THZ-P1-2 has demonstrated anticancer efficacy in leukemia cell lines, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and autophagy modulation.
