Tiadenol

Hypolipidemic Agent

Tiadenol is a potent hypolipidemic agent that primarily functions by reducing triglyceride levels and decreasing apolipoprotein E in very low-density lipoproteins, particularly in cases of hyperlipoproteinemia. At elevated doses, Tiadenol induces hepatomegaly in animal models and influences hepatic lipid levels as well as cholesterol synthesis and absorption. This compound is valuable for research focused on endocrine and metabolic disorders, especially hyperlipidemia.
