TIM-3 Inhibitor
TIM-3-IN-2 is a selective inhibitor of T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3 (TIM-3), targeting its interactions with phosphatidylserine (PtdSer), CEACAM1, and galectin-9. This compound effectively disrupts the immunosuppressive functions of TIM-3, leading to the restoration of interferon-gamma (IFNγ) release from peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Additionally, TIM-3-IN-2 demonstrates anti-proliferative effects on acute myeloid leukemia cells, making it a valuable tool for research into hematologic malignancies and potential immunotherapies.
