TLSC702
hGLO I Inhibitor
TLSC702 is a selective inhibitor of human glyoxalase I (hGLO I) with an IC50 of 2.0 μM. By inhibiting hGLO I, TLSC702 promotes the accumulation of methylglyoxal and its associated advanced glycation end products, which can lead to tumor cell growth inhibition. This compound induces characteristic apoptotic features in tumor cells, such as morphological changes, internucleosomal DNA fragmentation, and PARP cleavage. TLSC702 is relevant for research in the contexts of leukemia and lung cancer.
