Topiramate lithium

Antiepileptic Agent

Topiramate lithium is a broad-spectrum antiepileptic agent targeting multiple pathways. As a GluR5 receptor antagonist, it enhances GABAergic activity while inhibiting kainate/AMPA receptors and modulating voltage-sensitive sodium and calcium channels. Its mechanism also includes increased potassium conductance and inhibition of carbonic anhydrase. These combined effects make Topiramate lithium valuable for research into epilepsy and other neurological disorders.
